Flying can be incredibly stressful. The long lines to security check-ins, anxious people on board, turbulences… These are the things nobody likes while flying.

So in order to make the beginning of the year better for you, we decided to share with you the list of the safest airlines in the world!

For the fourth year, Australian carrier Qantas has been named the safest airline in the world.

Travel website AirlineRatings.com has revealed this after surveying 425 airlines for 2017.

Qantas has been operating for 96 years and has “a fatality free record in the jet era — an extraordinary record,” the website’s editors report.

“The world’s oldest continuously operating airline has amassed an amazing record of firsts in operations and safety and is now accepted by the British Advertising Standards Association as the industry’s most experienced carrier.”
