The Finalists have been announced for the inaugural International Customer Experience Awards, which is taking place this November 20 in Amsterdam.
The event will bring together businesses and organisations from around the world to celebrate best practise in customer centricity and to award those that have taken Customer Experience to the next level.
Finalists will compete in 17 categories, including Best Customer Experience Strategy, Most Effective use of Social Media or Mobile, and Best Measurement in Customer Experience.
Teams from each finalist company will present before an expert panel of judges at Amsterdam’s Movenpick Hotel, and following this, the winners will be announced later in the day at a gala ceremony.
Among the judges are some of the world’s best known Customer Experience strategists. These include consultant Ian Golding, author of Customer What? The Honest and Practical Guide to Customer Experience; the CEO of CX-Impact, Olivier Mourrieras; and Sirte Pihlaja, the founder of Finland’s first CX agency, Shirute.

The awards are hosted by Awards International UAE & Netherlands, which is behind events including the hugely significant Gulf Customer Experience Awards, and Managing Director Mark Hamill said:
“To all who have been successfully shortlisted for the first ever International Customer Experience Awards, I would like to offer a huge congratulations. We are honoured to be joined at the Finals by some of the most customer-centric organisations on the planet, and it is shaping up to be quite a job for our judges, who will be looking for the best in each category to be crown winners.
“We are hoping to found a truly global event that will be the world’s premier celebration of Customer Experience for years to come.”
