Pablo Olivera Brizzio is a Senior Director, Technology Generalist and Disruptive Innovator with 25 years of international experience in highly complex emerging technology environments. He holds degrees in Engineering Management and Electronics Engineering Technology from UK and US, besides several certifications in RFID. He has lead engineering and innovation departments, multidisciplinary teams and pioneer innovation initiatives in top technology organization such as IBM, GE, Sabre Holdings and Etihad Airways.
In the Air Transport Industry (ATI) , Pablo has made significant contributions in diverse key areas ranging from the identification of more accurate fog prediction models to mitigate flight delay costs all the way to Cargo pallet building optimization techniques and smart electric vehicles, gaining the recognition of IATA (International Air Transport Association) in 2017 for one of his innovations (Smart Electric Cool Dolly) which was co-patented, co-developed, and built by Masdar Institute of Science and Technology. In addition, he is the author of several US and international patents, including the world’s first electric auto lacing shoes.
At present, Pablo is a Business Development Director at Orange Business Services, working in novel IoT use cases for Airlines and Airports along Orange Applications for Business and its partner SITA, pushing the boundaries of technology to deliver a flawless and pleasurable user journey.
