Dubai has reinvented itself over the last few decades with the help of technological innovation, and returning for its 37th year, GITEX Technology Week  will showcase the latest in what the region has to offer.

Taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre between October 8 – 12, the event will gather tech pioneer and professionals from 97 different countries. It is estimated GITEX 2017 will feature around 4,500 exhibitors and up to 147,133 attendees.

The exhibitors will cover 17 different sectors that drive digital transformation. Some sectors such as 3D printing, AR and VR, Internet of Things, and Cloud have already been seen before, but this year GITEX is introducing Global Smart Cities, Fintech, Smart Manufacturing, and Data Centres.

GITEX Vertical Days

With the goal to create the most immersive, engaging, and rewarding experience for everyone present, GITEX has picked out keynote topics that will be covered each day.

Every day of the event is filled with power conferences led by the industry heavyweights who will be giving the attendees a clear insight into the future of tech innovation and sharing their own “this-is how-we-did-it” stories.

Next to the conferences and exhibits, GITEX Technology Week is organising additional activities called ‘Sessions+’.

These activities will include open door sessions with experts on current and future trends in the tech world. Additionally, there will be closed door discussions with government bodies looking to source technology.
