Aswaaq is one of the most trusted names in retail throughout the United Arab Emirates, and is hoping to repeat its success at last year’s Gulf Customer Experience Awards when it won the Retail category trophy.

Bait Al Kandora (SME)

Bait Al Kandora began selling traditional Emirati menswear in 2015, and his since become one of the premier names in the men’s fashion retail industry in Dubai and further afield.

Their motto, ‘A Proud Brand for a Proud People’ sums up a fashion philosophy that is evident upon visiting any of its seven boutiques.

The brand has also confidently entered the digital retail arena, and is selling its quality clothing to customers who can access the range of kandoras, sandals, and accessories from the comfort of their own homes.

Virgin Mobile (Technology and Telecoms)

Virgin Mobile launched in the UAE in 2017 with a bang, instantly winning fans thanks to an app allowing customers to customise their mobile package, and even have their new sim card at their door within an hour of joining.

Since the September launch, the brand has gone from strength-to-strength, outlining its new ‘Recommend’ service, allowing customers to alter and further personalise their mobile plans on a monthly basis.

Explaining their ambitious Customer Experience nature, Virgin Mobile UAE Managing Director Karim Benkirane said of the brand: “We are an innovation lab. If we get feedback from our customers that something is high priority, then whatever the need we will plug it into our roadmap and develop it for them.”
