The Saudi pharmacy chain is entering this category with its Diabetes Initiative. This has seen the installation of ‘Diabetes Corners’ in 22 cities, where patients can administer self care, relieving the pressure on front-line medical practitioners.
The firm is also shortlisted for its Billion Step Challenge, which encourages Saudi citizens to walk 10,000 steps per day in order to combat a wide range of illnesses and conditions caused by inactivity.
