Acquisition Stampede Sees CX and EX Companies Acquire AI or Features

The merger and acquisitions inbox at CXM exploded into life this week ahead of major earnings report season (led by Accenture’s massive AI earnings). It highlights the growing drive for businesses to acquire AI, or AI firms to add features to complete their offering, or consolidate their market position.
First up, Alchemer announced its acquisition of Chatmeter, combining to create a comprehensive feedback intelligence platform. One that connects and unifies direct and indirect customer feedback in a single solution.
Customers will gain an AI-powered, actionable view of customer feedback and sentiment across all channels, including surveys, in-app feedback, reviews, and social media.
Acquisition Marks the Easy Route to AI Power
In feedback news, Netigate, an AI-powered experience management SaaS provider, announced the acquisition of Mopinion, a specialist in digital customer feedback software.
The acquisition brings together Netigate’s enterprise-grade customer and employee experience feedback collection and analytics, trusted by Spotify and Lufthansa, with Mopinion’s award-winning real-time digital feedback tools, used by companies including Air France-KLM and Vodafone.
And finally, for today, TeamSystem, an AI company specialising in the development of digital business management solutions for SMEs and professionals, announces the acquisition of French outfit Sellsy, a provider of all-in-one CRM and financial management system software solutions for SMEs.
None of these deals are likely near the recent $1billion NiCE acquisition of Cognigy, but expect bigger deals in the near future as AI winners and losers become apparent in a hectic operating and market environment.
