Bupa Named Overall Winner at UKEXA 2026, Powered by Gold in Learning and Development
Bupa was named overall winner at the UK Employee Experience Awards 2026 – the night’s top honour, awarded to the organisation with the highest score across all categories – anchored by a gold win for Best Learning and Development. The ceremony was held at Park Plaza Riverbank, London on 9th July.
Ahead of the overall winner announcement, the healthcare provider had already picked up four medals on the night: gold for Best Learning and Development, plus silver for Best Leadership Development, Best Company Culture, and Best Use of Technology.
Anton Radner, Workplace Technology Change Manager, pointed to a clinical training academy built to develop Bupa’s workforce across its care homes, dental practices, and hospitals, as central to the gold win for Best Learning and Development. The aim, he said, is training the employees of the future so they can keep delivering the standard of care the business is built on.

Four medals in one night from a single organisation is a rare result at UKEXA, and the strength of the Learning and Development win in particular looks like the thread that carried Bupa to the top of the leaderboard. It points to something beyond a single strong entry: a culture where learning, leadership, technology, and day-to-day working environment are all pulling in the same direction.
