B. Braun Wins Two Golds at UKEXA 2026, for Leadership Development and DEI

B.Braun UK EXA

B. Braun, in partnership with Elev-8 Performance Improvement, took home two gold awards at the UK Employee Experience Awards 2026, held at Park Plaza Riverbank, London, on 9 July: Best Leadership Development and Best DEI.

Speaking to CXM, Martin Williams, Head of Supply Chain, put the Best Leadership Development win down to consistency rather than a single initiative. Every people leader in the business has been through the company’s leadership programme, and Williams described a visible shift in how those leaders behave day to day as a result.

Helen Ghosh, UK Group HR Director, took the second award, Best DEI, back to listening. The business asked employees directly what the issues were and identified a lack of psychological safety, not fear exactly, but a hesitancy to speak up or bring their full selves to work. The response was a culture shift led from the top, built around the slogan “everybody, everywhere, matters.”

For Ghosh, the most meaningful outcome isn’t the award itself but what she describes as employees finding more confidence and voice as a result. It’s a reminder that DEI progress, at its most credible, tends to be measured in behaviour change rather than policy documents.
