HungerRush has announced the rollout of a new integration between its POS (Point of Sale) system and the Grubhub Marketplace. This addition means restaurants using HungerRush can now manage all their Grubhub orders directly through the same system they already use for DoorDash and Uber Eats, offering a unified, streamlined approach to handling third-party delivery orders.

“By integrating Grubhub into our POS system, we are providing operators and owners with a powerful tool to centralise ordering and consolidate technology clutter, while focusing on improving the guest experience,” said Eran Hollander, Chief Product Officer at HungerRush. “Our mission has always been to focus on improving operational woes for restaurant owners and providing a superior guest experience.”

No need for middleman platforms

Historically, restaurants had to rely on external tablets or third-party aggregators to process Grubhub orders, leading to operational clutter and increased staff workload. HungerRush’s latest enhancement removes that friction. With this integration, restaurants no longer need to juggle multiple devices or rely on middleman platforms. Instead, all delivery orders feed into a single POS, simplifying order flow and improving day-to-day efficiency.

“Having all our marketplace orders come through one POS system, including Grubhub, has simplified our processes and improved order accuracy. The integration has helped us streamline our operations, eliminate third-party services, and reduce complexity, allowing us to focus more on what matters: serving our customers, ” said James Ryan, franchise owner of Flippin’ Pizza.

The integration also brings several critical advantages. First, it consolidates all major delivery apps into one centralised platform, cutting down on operational confusion. Second, it reduces employee stress and labour inefficiencies by eliminating the need to monitor and input orders from multiple devices. In addition, the system includes real-time menu synchronisation, ensuring that inventory and item availability are always accurate across all platforms, helping prevent mismatched menus and customer frustration.

With this upgrade, HungerRush continues its mission to equip restaurants with smart, efficient solutions that reduce complexity and improve the guest experience. The ability to manage Grubhub, DoorDash, and Uber Eats all in one place not only saves time but can also help drive profitability by reducing human error and tech overhead.
