The UK Customer Experience Awards 2025 Rocks Wembley

UKCXA25

Thursday, London. Above the hallowed turf at Wembley Stadium, the Awards International team were busy preparing for the 16th edition of the UK Customer Experience Awards, while watching the pitch being set for the weekend’s NFL clash between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the LA Rams.

Inside, the heavyweight line backers and nimble running backs of the UK’s finest Customer Experience playbook exponents were gathering in the stadium’s Great Hall for a glittering evening of celebration.

It Started With A Workgroup

But, rewinding, the day started off with Oxbow Consultancy’s performance improvement guru, Charlotte Elmer, delivering a workgroup on the power of making and maintaining meaningful business relationships and networking skills.

She demonstrated the skill of analysing people’s traits by colour energy mix (salute to all the green carers and sharers). And understanding the strategic and immediate value of a relationship. Attendees took on one-to-one challenges and quick surveys to put their skills to the test.

And the Winners Are…

Come the evening, the Awards International team had finished the hard work of setting up for the event. As they donned party frocks and dinner jackets, over 700 guests walked up the red carpet filed into the Three Lions bar for pre-meal drinks, reuniting with old friends and making new ones.

Some companies were making a regular habit of nominations, while for others it was their first time at the big show.

Taking to the stage, Emma Dark and Ian Golding MC’d the event with aplomb, starting with a dash of high-energy en-masse swaying and glowstick waving.

In between a three-course meal and a charity drive that raised over £8,000 for Barnardo’s, the awards were handed out thick and fast. Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards were announced by UKCXA judges, across a range of CX categories, eliciting genuine surprise from some winners and roars of delight from others.

Big winners included three golds for Accenture and Virgin Media/O2 while Standard Life (dive into the full list of winners here) took home the Overall award, dethroning 2024’s big winners Experian.

The CXM team’s favourite award went to Barchester Healthcare for Best Use of Customer Insight and Feedback for their elder and dementia care homes.

Congratulations to all who were nominated and won, the judges who fielded the marathon roster of entries and the Awards International team for setting up another amazing show.
