AI Glasses Make Consumer-Friendly Waves at the CES Show
Connected smart glasses have been on the scene for over a decade, with Google’s Glasses and Microsoft’s Holovision leading the charge, and Apple incubating a pair for seemingly ever.
However, with the arrival of AI, the spatial computing market for consumers has received a major boost with a number of smart spectacles taking a bow at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas where agentic AI is taking over the show floor.
The new glasses offer more real-time interactive features, from translation of signs and conversation to verbal app instructions and image capture.
All of which will create interest among customer-centric and informational brands looking to say relevant as we approach the later part of this decade.
Smart Glasses and AI Watching Your World
Infinix is one of the companies revealing its first-ever AI wearables, the AI GLASSES Series, including the flagship AI GLASSES Pro, powered by a 6nm processor paired with a dedicated imaging chip.
This company claims that offers extended battery life and intelligent imaging capabilities, delivering an accessible, “always-on” spatial intelligence experience for everyday use.

Designed for first-person perspective capture, the AI GLASSES Pro use a 12MP ultra-wide lens with a 109° field of view and powered by AI imaging algorithms. These algorithms include high dynamic range, reduce noise in low-light conditions, stabilize video, and optimize portrait and night scenes—covering the most common real-world use cases.
Helping users, the Folax AI assistant, always-on and ready to respond in natural language. Users can ask questions about their surroundings, issue quick “Hi Folax” prompt followed by a “take a photo” or “play music,” and get instant results without touching the device, while AI Lens interaction interprets contextual information in real time—from restaurant menus to art pieces or unknown objects.
For tourists and professionals, AI GLASSES Pro breaks language barriers with real-time translation across 169 languages. A single tap also enables voice and call recording with instant transcription, making every conversation searchable and accessible. Together, these features provide a personal, always-on AI companion for work, life, and learning.
The ultra‑lightweight video-enabled frame weighs just 35g, available in four contemporary styles for all‑day, all-occasion wear. Built with durable TR90 memory nylon, stainless‑steel hinges, and IP54 resistance.
Lenovo’s Smart Glass Concept Take to the Stage
Lenovo is still at the concept stage, with a live demonstration of QIRA AI-powered smart glasses shown off at the tech brand’s big show at The Sphere in Las Vegas.
Offering similar features, could these and other glasses technology start to replace the need for our phone to be stuck in front of our space, when glasses could do the job in a more aesthetically pleasing manner?
Pricing, features and compatibility will dictate any degree of market success, but after many false starts, smart glasses could easily be a popular tech choice for consumers in the coming years.
