Infobip has partnered with conversational technology firm Clerk Chat to deliver a next-generation messaging experience for a professional football team based in Los Angeles. The collaboration merges Infobip’s Rich Communication Services (RCS) capabilities with Clerk Chat’s conversational AI technology to offer fans a more interactive, engaging, and personalised connection with their team, right from their default messaging apps.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Clerk Chat to set a new standard for fan engagement in sports,” said Ivan Ostojić, chief business officer at Infobip. “Our collaboration demonstrates the power of combining Infobip’s global messaging infrastructure with Clerk Chat’s conversational expertise, delivering innovative and immersive experiences that connect brands and audiences like never before.”

By integrating both platforms, fans can now enjoy app-like features within their text messages, including access to multimedia content, live updates, interactive polls, and real-time conversations. This enables the team to create a seamless digital fan experience, strengthening community engagement without needing additional apps or platforms.

Secure messaging

The partnership also ensures high-quality, secure message delivery across all major mobile networks, making the experience widely accessible and scalable.

This initiative marks a major step forward in the evolution of conversational messaging, showcasing the potential of RCS technology beyond traditional marketing. The partnership not only enhances the digital experience for sports fans but also serves as a blueprint for how other industries can use rich messaging tools to build deeper relationships with their audiences.

“We see RCS as an ideal platform for AI, enabling brands to deliver richer, more dynamic conversations,” says Alexander Haque, co-founder and CEO of Clerk Chat. “This shift has the potential to democratize access to AI-powered services, offering everyone a concierge-like experience directly within their messaging app.

Infobip has also previously partnered with the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team to elevate fan engagement, using real-time messaging and AI-powered chats to bring Formula 1 supporters closer to the race-day action.
