Kustomer Lands $30M Series B to Scale AI Agents for Smarter Customer Support

Kustomer has secured a $30 million Series B funding round led by Norwest, with continued investment from Battery Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, and Boldstart Ventures. This fresh capital will fuel the company’s ambitious AI product roadmap, accelerate platform innovation, and support rapid scaling as demand for intelligent, end-to-end customer experience solutions surges.
“AI alone isn’t enough. It has to reach customers and be embedded into the daily workflows of CX teams. That’s what sets Kustomer apart. We’ve shaped our platform from the ground up to operationalise AI with real-time data and deep context, so teams can delight customers and drive real outcomes. With Norwest’s partnership, we’re doubling down on our AI-native platform and scaling to meet global enterprise demand,” said Brad Birnbaum, CEO and co-founder of Kustomer.
Unlike legacy helpdesks that focus on ticket management, or newer AI-first players that offer slick chat tools without the data depth or orchestration to handle complex service needs, Kustomer combines real-time data, deep context, and decision-ready infrastructure to deliver a truly unified, action-driven customer service experience.
At the heart of Kustomer’s innovation are its AI agents, designed to work seamlessly with human teams. Over the past year, the company has rolled out two AI-native products: AI Agents for Reps and AI Agents for Customers. AI Agents for Reps act as intelligent copilots, drafting responses, surfacing relevant customer data, and eliminating repetitive tasks — boosting agent productivity by more than 30%. AI Agents for Customers autonomously resolve up to 40% of inquiries across channels like chat, email, voice, and WhatsApp.
The new funding will not only accelerate product innovation but also strengthen Kustomer’s ability to deliver transparency, accountability, and highly personalised customer experiences that align with brand standards. The company is also pushing into new international markets, offering localised support, building regional go-to-market teams, and tailoring solutions for the unique requirements of global brands.
Leadership Changes
Alongside this strategic growth, Kustomer has reinforced its leadership team with the appointment of Anna Fisher as Chief Marketing Officer. Fisher brings a track record of scaling marketing for high-growth SaaS companies, including Salesforce, Spiff, and ZoomInfo. At Salesforce, she drove marketing for key cloud offerings and launched strategic new products, following its acquisition of Spiff, where she oversaw marketing through rapid expansion.
