What if paying a bill was as easy as replying “yes” to a text? That’s the future Sinch and Authvia are rolling out across North America with a new partnership that puts mobile payments directly into messaging threads.

Announced today, the collaboration combines Sinch’s enterprise-grade messaging reach with Authvia’s patented TXT2PAY technology to power secure, real-time payments inside SMS, RCS, and WhatsApp conversations. The result is frictionless transactional experiences that don’t require an app, a web redirect, or even a second thought.

Sinch will now become Authvia’s default messaging provider, marking a strategic expansion into payment-enabled messaging that aims to blur the line between customer service and checkout. The companies are especially focused on RCS (Rich Communication Services), a next-gen SMS standard that allows for carousels, suggested actions, secure links, and verified sender identity—features that make conversational commerce both richer and more secure.

“This partnership allows us to meet customers where they are with seamless communication and now, seamless transactions. By embedding Authvia’s payment capabilities into our messaging channels, we’re unlocking a powerful new dimension of customer interaction, enabling businesses to engage, transact, and build trust in real time,” said Michael Ricci, head of business development at Sinch.

The integrated solution works seamlessly with the existing infrastructure of businesses across sectors like healthcare, retail, logistics, and financial services. Authvia already supports over 250 payment processors, including heavyweights like U.S. Bank, Fiserv, and Global Payments, as well as digital wallets like Apple Pay and PayPal.

The integration helps B2C brands collect payments faster and enables B2B platforms to raise the bar in customer experience, turning conversations from informative exchanges into conversion moments.
