The future of customer experience won’t come from generic chatbots but from AI that acts and thinks like the businesses it serves.

That’s according to Birdeye, a company that unveiled Brand AI and Industry AI, two major additions to its BirdAI architecture, aiming to transform how companies automate customer engagement without losing control over voice, accuracy, or compliance.

After teasing its ambitions with the “AI Vision” announcement earlier this month, Birdeye is moving quickly from pitch to product. The new tools let businesses deploy AI agents that sound like their brand and understand their space, from HIPAA-regulated healthcare to hypercompetitive home services.

“On-brand” finally means something in AI

Brand AI promises to make sure your AI doesn’t go rogue with off-tone messaging or vague replies. It learns a company’s internal data, tone, and workflows, while allowing teams to enforce brand compliance and control access. Four components anchor the system: voice, knowledge, governance, and security.

Meanwhile, Industry AI focuses on vertical fluency as it’s trained on over 200 million users across 150,000 businesses and more than a decade of domain-specific data. That means replies aren’t only stylistically correct, but also contextually smart. In addition to regulatory compliance (HIPAA, FINRA, GDPR), real-time trend tracking and benchmark analysis, this layer helps ensure AI agents speak the language of your industry fluently.

A smarter stack

The new models are powered by BirdAI’s architecture, which processes prompts using LLMs from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, Meta, and Mistral under strict enterprise-grade security protocols. Rather than building another black-box chatbot, Birdeye is assembling a modular AI system you can trust and tune.

Pilots in financial services, retail, healthcare, and home services have shown “strong performance gains” in customer response speed, agent adoption, and brand safety, according to the company. That translates into improved engagement and higher conversion rates, something both B2C and B2B CX leaders are chasing.

Naveen Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Birdeye, said: “With Brand AI and Industry AI, every business can now deploy their own AI agent that’s fluent in their brand, tuned to their industry, and focused on outcomes. This is AI that’s custom-built for your business.”
