TELUS Digital Experience (TELUS Digital) has announced its acquisition of Gerent, a U.S.-based Salesforce consultancy. Gerent, a Salesforce Summit Partner, brings with it deep industry expertise and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale implementations, integrations, and agentic AI solutions. The Gerent brand will be officially retired by the end of Q3 2025, with all services now offered under the TELUS Digital banner.
“Gerent will further strengthen our company’s expertise in transforming the CX agent experience, including the development and implementation of agentic AI as part of our Digital Solutions service line. The numerous synergies between our two companies helps us advance our fusion-based growth strategy that brings top talent together with advanced technologies, ”said Tobias Dengel, President, TELUS Digital Solutions.
Gerent’s global, fully remote workforce spans the U.S., Canada, India, and Australia, and boasts more than 1,000 successful Salesforce projects and 1.2 million implementation hours. The firm has earned an impressive 4.9/5.0 customer satisfaction score and holds over 1,800 Salesforce certifications. Since its founding in 2008, Gerent has expanded its capabilities through strategic growth and acquisitions, developing a strong portfolio in digital marketing, cloud services, cybersecurity, and managed IT services.
Agentic AI
A key differentiator in this acquisition is Gerent’s expertise in agentic AI—an emerging area in enterprise automation. Unlike traditional AI, agentic AI systems autonomously make decisions and take action, improving responsiveness and efficiency. Gerent has created AI-driven internal and customer-facing agents, such as sales agents that engage leads and schedule meetings independently, and CX agents that resolve customer issues without human intervention.
These technologies align with TELUS Digital’s proprietary AI platform, Fuel iX, enhancing the company’s ability to deliver scalable, intelligent customer solutions.
This acquisition not only boosts TELUS Digital’s Salesforce capabilities but also positions it at the forefront of AI-driven digital transformation across regulated and fast-moving industries, including healthcare, finance, education, and retail.
