Freshworks Accelerates McLaren F1 Team as Official Partner

Leading the F1 Drivers and Constructors World Championships, McLaren sits at the top of the “pinnacle of motorsport.” And whether you like the sport or not, its marketing power attracts some of the biggest tech and business names on the planet. Enter Freshworks with a new Official Partner deal.
The multi-year partnership with McLaren Racing, sees Freshworks sign up as an Official Partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team. As part of the deal, McLaren has integrated Freshworks’ ITSM solution, Freshservice, to boost productivity through more efficient and improved IT services within the team.
With AI-powered Freshservice, McLaren can ensure its global IT operations run smoothly by addressing service requests quickly and seamlessly, even when spread across the globe during a busy race season – eliminating complexity and driving operational efficiencies across all aspects of the team for a better employee experience.
McLaren Cars Badged with Freshworks
Freshservice supports McLaren’s IT team to reduce tech-based issues so the team can maximise its efforts on performance on the track. Efficient and uncomplicated processes reduce friction and allow the team to resolve issues and deliver services faster.
The more visible part of the deal sees Freshworks branding featuring on both McLaren Formula 1 Team race cars for the rest of the season and beyond, with some envious B2B eyes on the team at Spa, Belgium this weekend to see how McLaren fare in the notorious weather conditions that the track challenges all racers with.
Zak Brown, CEO, McLaren Racing, said, “Boosting our efficiencies off the track is a key factor in improving our performance on it. With industry-leading partners such as Freshworks, we’re able to do just that, and I’m delighted to welcome them to the team.”
Dennis Woodside, CEO, Freshworks, said, “We partner with McLaren Racing to optimize their IT operations, enhancing their critical support for winning performance. Our enterprise-grade solutions are designed for ease of implementation, use, and configuration, accelerating McLaren IT’s capabilities with AI. We’re proud to deliver intuitive software that directly supports their mission to eliminate complexity on and off the track.”
See what Freshworks offers, and the broad range of more typical businesses it supports from the recent Refresh event. While drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri might not be able to point out what Freshworks is or does, the drivers and team should look good with the logo on their kit. Certainly better than the fake drinks brands, weird crypto businesses and other brands that tag along with motorsports for the fame and attention.
