Zoom and Oracle Link Up to Simplify Enterprise Customer Support

Zoom and Oracle are teaming up to help companies handle customer support with less friction and more intelligence. The deal lets Zoom’s customer platform work with Oracle Cloud, mixing communication tools and dependable tech in one place.
This means Zoom can now offer its platform to more large organisations looking for speed and scale. Meanwhile, Oracle adds a modern, AI-driven layer of customer engagement to its already broad suite of enterprise applications. The two companies promise a simpler way for businesses to manage conversations across channels without the usual patchwork of disconnected systems.
Earlier this year, Oracle rolled out Zoom Contact Centre across its own global support operations. The system is now part of Oracle Service workflows, giving service agents instant access to Zoom’s communication tools directly within their day-to-day environment.
Christine Sarros, Senior Vice President of Enterprise Engineering at Oracle, said the collaboration strives to help organisations “deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve better business outcomes.” She pointed to the combination of Oracle’s infrastructure and Zoom’s communication technology as “a foundation for AI-driven engagement.”

In practice, the integration means faster resolutions and fewer manual steps. A service call can automatically trigger updates in customer records or create a follow-up task for a sales rep, the kind of automation that eliminates the gaps between departments. Also, agents gain a complete view of each customer in one place, combining data from sales, service, finance, and supply chain systems.
The result is a more connected experience for both customers and employees. Sectors like healthcare, finance, retail, and hotels will likely see the biggest difference as these sectors often need fast, informed answers and secure communication.
